KXVT70 Cotton Taping Winding Machine
Description
The KXVT70 Cotton Taping Winding Machine is an industrial-grade, multi-axis automated platform specifically engineered for wrapping heavy textile protective layers, heavy cotton insulation tapes, and synthetic films onto toroidal components and magnetic coils. Utilizing a dual-motor propulsion design, this specialized floor-mounted system combines heavy-duty handling with micro-step precision to manage thick, non-adhesive fiber backings that typically stall standard wrapping heads.
By replacing old-style friction drives with a high-torque closed-loop servo system, the KXVT70 maintains constant winding tension and precise overlap tracking. It features an intuitive, microcomputer-driven interface that enables rapid transitions between fully automated mass production and granular manual prototyping. The machine provides an efficient, highly durable solution for power grid component manufacturers, heavy inductor suppliers, and specialized coil winding shops requiring long-term reliability and void-free textile insulation layering.

Brief Technical Description
- Closed-Loop Servo Spindle & High-Resolution Stepper Control
The main winding head is powered by a high-capacity 750W servo motor built to strict European engineering standards, achieving rapid processing velocities up to 150 RPM without angular position loss. Complementing this drivetrain, the core rotation is indexed by a dedicated 0.30 kW stepper motor, ensuring stable lateral material progression and robust handling of heavy core geometries.
- Micro-Step Wire Pitch & Interlayer Tracking
The insulation layer spacing and lateral pitch travel are fully automated and programmable down to microscopic 0.001mm steps. This microcomputer-controlled resolution prevents gaps or uneven overlaps in thick cotton tape, guaranteeing a smooth finish that preserves the cooling properties and dielectric strength of the processed coil.
- Advanced Data Memory & PC Connection Matrix
The integrated digital controller features a large, backlit LCD screen that displays continuous, real-time operational readouts. The non-volatile storage system holds up to 25 master product programs, with each program supporting 20 separate operational sequences. Dedicated communication ports allow for seamless recipe backups and direct PC connection for firmware updates.
- Programmable Speed Ramping & Automated Core Indexing
The software architecture handles multiple complex movement parameters automatically. Technicians can set separate, individual load and wind speeds, while the controller manages the entire acceleration, deceleration, core reversal, and section/bank wrapping processes autonomously, stopping automatically at designated tap locations.
- Flexible Dual-Mode Processing Controls
The control interface supports both fully automatic production cycles and manual overrides, allowing operators to change critical processing metrics on the fly without halting active manufacturing:
Bi-Directional Paths: Rapid switching between positive (clockwise) and negative (counter-clockwise) tracking directions.
Manual Velocity Ramping: On-demand adjustment of winding acceleration and deceleration curves.
Custom Feed Overrides: Independent control over material positioning and linear spacing intervals.
Application
The KXVT70 Cotton Taping Winding Machine is a high-speed digital core taping solution specialized in applying cotton insulation tape to wound coils, with optimal performance for toroidal inductors, toroidal transformers, toroidal current transformers, toroidal coils, toroid choke coils, power inductors, power magnetics, UPS inductors, converter inductors, heavy toroidal cores, and similar components.
Operation is streamlined: an operator places the coil on the rotating spindle, and the KXVT70 automatically applies the precise number of cotton tape turns, secures the tape end with a specialized wiping action, and ejects the finished coil-ensuring consistent accuracy and reliability in every cycle.
Engineered as a highly accurate and reliable digital core taping machine, the KXVT70 excels at wrapping insulation tape on both toroidal cores and windings. While specialized for cotton tape applications, it is also designed to operate with a wide variety of other insulation materials, including Kapton, Polyester, PEN, PVC, PPS, and most woven and non-woven tape types, offering versatile taping solutions for diverse manufacturing needs.

Packaging

Packaging Material: Carton/Wooden case with foam inside.
1. General package(Paper carton or plastic bag): For small euipped parts for Digital Core Taping Machine, Package it with form and pack paper to guarantee unbroken during the transport.
2. Wooden case package: For larger scale Digital Core Taping Machine, we have special skilled carpenter, who would make the proper wooden case with exact thickness, density, length. The up arrow ↑marked on the outer wooden case. Buffer material would be put in the wooden case to prevent crack and shock.
